Zaure support

Zaure is a business messaging app for Nigerian SMEs, built on the Matrix protocol and operated by ZERODAONE LTD (RC 9620327). This page is how you reach us about it.

Get help

We aim to answer support mail within two business days. Include your device, operating system version and app version where relevant — it saves a round trip.

Delete your account

You can delete your Zaure account and the data attached to it from within the app, under account settings. If you cannot reach the app, email privacy@zerodaone.com from the address on the account and we will process the deletion.

Deleting an account removes your profile, your account record and your device keys. Messages you sent that other people still hold copies of behave the way any messenger works — we cannot reach into another person’s device and remove them.

A note on encryption and recovery

Zaure conversations are end‑to‑end encrypted, which means we cannot read them and we cannot recover them for you. If you lose your recovery key and every signed‑in device at the same time, encrypted message history is not retrievable — by you or by us. This is a property of the design, not a gap in it. Back up your recovery key when the app asks you to.

Report abuse

Report abusive accounts, harassment or illegal content to abuse@zerodaone.com. Include the room or user identifier and, where you can, the message. Because conversations are encrypted, we cannot see reported content unless you send it to us — a report without evidence limits what we are able to act on.

Security issues

If you believe you have found a vulnerability in Zaure, write to security@zerodaone.com with enough detail to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable window to fix it before publishing. We will acknowledge receipt, keep you updated, and credit you if you want the credit.

Status

Zaure is in development and has not yet been released on the App Store or Google Play. Support channels above are live now.
