MyProperties

A real estate and services marketplace for Nigeria. One place to find property, hire the trades and professionals who work on it, and buy the materials the work needs — from partners whose details have been checked.

The platform is built and deployed at myproperties.ng, and opens to users shortly. What follows describes what it does.

Property

Listings to rent, buy or lease, browsable by category and filterable down to what you are actually looking for. Every listing has its own page with the detail that matters for that kind of property. Signed‑in users can raise an enquiry, request a viewing, and track both from their dashboard rather than losing the thread in a chat app.

Services

Professional and trade services listed alongside property, because the two are the same job in practice. Current categories include renovation, plumbing, electrical, architecture and design. Service listings can be quoted rather than bought off the shelf: you describe the work, the provider responds, and the offer is recorded against your account.

Building materials

Materials from suppliers on the platform, priced in Naira, ordered through the same cart and checkout as anything else. Cement through to fittings, from vendors who have been onboarded rather than scraped.

Partners

A directory of the vendors, suppliers and professional firms operating on the platform, each with their own profile and listings. Businesses can apply to join through the partner application in their dashboard; applications are reviewed before a partner appears in the directory.

Accounts and payment

• Sign in with email and password, or with Google.
• A dashboard covering enquiries, viewings, quotes, order history and account details.
• Items you add before signing in are kept — your basket carries over to your account when you log in.
• Payment in Nigerian Naira through Paystack, with an order record and confirmation for every transaction.
